Duffy show and my Duffy book

Kia Ora bloggers

Today we went to Duffy show with 3 performers that are going to perform in other schools we got our Duffy books

They were telling us about a story about a finding and taking care of a hybrid animal

Here is a recap of the book's story (Black Panther)

There was a terrorist attack and the innocent miners of Wakanda were helpless until Black Panther showed up, and saved their lives but one of the miners named Ato confronted Black Panther for  being a little bit late to the fight, and blaming for being to much of a hero and they both argue over again and that's all I got to read up to.

Here is a picture of my Duffy book.

There was lots of pictures we could color in, I colored 3 of the pictures, it took about 30 minutes for me to finish all of them. by the way I started of with kick start instead of step it up, if you are wondering what kick start is it´s one of the started that you can start of with, kick start is a little bit more easier then step it up.

Here is some of my art that I did and I´m going to compare it with the original drawing.

My diwali diya

Kia Ora bloggers

A week ago we made Diyas, The fun thing about making the Diyas were rolling it into a ball and decorating them.

What I found challenging about making the Diyas was trying to mold it cause it was to soft for me but for other people it was to hard.

What I found interesting about making the Diyas was watching it turn into a peace of clay to a Diya

If you are wondering where the instructions are, go to the bottom of the page and there you will find a link to the instructions from a friend named Troy

Here is a Picture of my diya

Digital learning

Today we learnt about modern technology and the difference between the technology back then and the technology now.

Things I found challenging about our digital learning lesson was trying to make a moving animation and creating a character.

Things I enjoyed, I enjoyed creating an avatar in Makers Empire, playing memory and using the bee bot. What you can do with the bee bot is program it to move where you want it to go by using the buttons on top of it.

What I learnt about in out digital learning lesson, we learnt about how many ways you can use Makers Empire and the number of modes which are called Toy,Character,Block and Shape Creator. There are many more.

Should we get Makers Empire?

I think we should get Makers Empire because we can make our own map and try it out so other people can play on it. You can create your own avatar and edit your avatar when ever you want. There are a lot of ways you create things. The more things you create the more money you can get for your avatar. (Makers Empire is for free)

Beeswax wraps

Talofa lava blogging world,

Before we get to Beeswax wraps we will be talking about plastic and how it is affecting every ones life.

Did you know that this month is plastic free July? In our class we have been looking at the plastic in our classroom and the plastic rubbish that we create. We have also been learning about how our plastic rubbish impacts our oceans wild life.

Plastic has been affecting the great barrier reef, pacific ocean and much more. Some shops and Markets have been banning plastic to make the world a better place. Animals around the world have been eating plastic and dying from it.

Even though plastic is most of the time useful we still have to destroy a lot of it because with plastic our future is not looking good.
